I-516, Lynes Parkway, Single Lane Closure for the Westbound Traffic, From Milepost 4 to Milepost 5 (Derenne Avenue to Garden City).



WHEN:        10/12/09, Monday, 12:00 Midnight to 10/13/09, Tuesday, 7 a.m.

                      10/13/09, Tuesday, 12:00 Midnight to 10/14/09, Wednesday, 7 a.m.

                      10/14/09, Wednesday, 12:00 Midnight to 10/15/09, Thursday, 7 a.m.

                      10/15/09, Thursday, 12:00 Midnight to 10/16/09, Friday, 7 a.m.

                      10/16/09, Friday, 12:00 Midnight to 10/17/09, Saturday,7 a.m.





WHERE:        I-516, Lynes Parkway Westbound from MP 4 to MP 5 (Note this route is also known as US 80 / SR 26 Westbound and US 17 / SR 25 / SR 21 Northbound).





WHAT:           Contractor for GDOT will be performing repair work on I-16, westbound bridge beams.  The I-516 westbound right lane will be closed and traffic will shift to the left lane.

Traffic on I-516 eastbound nor I-16 westbound will not be affected during repair work.



This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary.  Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes.
