Monthly Siren Test CANCELED
Savannah, GA – January 6, 2010
 
 
Due to a gas leak in the Port Wentworth area, the monthly siren test that was scheduled for today at noon has been canceled.  A portion of Highway 25 in the vicinity of the Port Wentworth Elementary School is temporarily closed while emergency response personnel respond to the leak.
 
Drivers are urged to use alternate routes, take caution with heavier than usual traffic, and expect delays.
