I-95 NB & SB Exit Ramps To Abercorn Extension
Scheduled To Close Overnight Next Tuesday
WHEN: 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, to 7 a.m., Wednesday, June 2.
WHERE: Interstate Highway 95 North and Southbound Exit (94) Ramps to SR 204/Abercorn Extension will be closed.
WHAT: Georgia DOT contractor will be rehabilitating concrete pavement on ramps.
DETOURS: Northbound traffic on I-95 will exit at Fort Stewart/Richmond Hill (Exit 90);
Turn Eastbound on Ford Ave. and go approx. 1.25 miles to U.S. 17/S.R. 25;
Turn Northbound on U.S. 17/S.R. 25 and go approx. 5.5 miles to S.R. 204/Abercorn Extension.
Southbound traffic on I-95 will continue and exit at Fort Stewart/Richmond Hill (Exit 90); then follow same directions given above.
This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes.
