FREE Emergency Response Class Offered THURSDAY, June 28th!

Chatham Emergency Management will be providing a free class, You Are The Help Until Help Arrives, to prepare members of the Community for life-threatening emergency situations. 

Citizens attending can expect to learn important skills such as, controlling bleeding, how to position an injured person, and how to keep safe during an emergency 

The class will be held twice at the American Red Cross office. Both classes will cover the same content. We encourage all citizens to register beforehand, but it is not required.

The Chatham County Siren System

The Chatham Emergency Management Agency conducts monthly tests of our emergency warning sirens on the first Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. If you hear a siren at any other time, it means take cover! Read more about our warning siren program.
