How to Join CCOAD

Your community can use that knowledge and expertise in times of crisis.  CCOAD offers the way for you to be part of the team process that speed the response and recovery where we have suffered major damage and destruction.

The Citizens Corps Partner Memorandum of Understanding is the nationally recognized method of expressing your interest to become a partner and member of CCOAD.

The Chatham County Siren System

The Chatham Emergency Management Agency conducts monthly tests of our emergency warning sirens on the first Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. If you hear a siren at any other time, it means take cover! Read more about our warning siren program.
