Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador

Weather Ready Nation Ambassador.png
The Chatham Emergency Management Agency has received recognition as a Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador from the National Weather Service. The WRN Ambassador initiative helps unify the efforts across government, non-profits, academia, and private industries toward making the nation more ready, responsive, and resilient against extreme environmental hazards. Director of CEMA, Dennis Jones, states, "The Weather-Ready Nation initiative is a great partnership program to better prepare our residents and build a resilient, weather ready community."   As a WRN Ambassador, CEMA will continue to partner with the National Weather Service, and to push out consistent, informative messaging on extreme weather, water, and climate hazards.
