Matthew Pimentel

Hello, I'm Matt Pimentel, and I'm proud to be part of the Chatham Emergency Management Agency team. With a passion for amateur radio, I bring a unique set of skills to our agency's mission of ensuring the safety and security of our community.

My journey in emergency management began with a deep involvement in Amateur Radio Emergency Service, where I currently serve as the Assistant District Emergency Coordinator for southeast Georgia. In this role I developed a keen understanding of the importance of effective communication during emergencies.

In addition to my volunteer service with ARES, I have also served as a volunteer firefighter, further solidifying my commitment to public service and emergency response. My time in the field has given me firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of serving our community during times of crisis.

I am dedicated to leveraging my expertise and experiences to support CEMA's efforts in emergency preparedness and disaster response.
