‼️Assistance Available for Chatham County Residents Affected by Hurricanes Debby and Helene
 
The Chatham Emergency Management Agency is encouraging Chatham County residents affected by Hurricane Debby and/or Hurricane Helene to apply for available individual assistance.
🌀The Coastal Empire Disaster Recovery Committee (CEDRC) is providing support to residents who experienced structural damage from these storms.
While FEMA assistance and insurance may have covered some losses, this program is designed to help address remaining unmet needs.
 
✨How to apply:
Eligible residents may apply by completing a survey and case intake form, which collects contact information, details about the damaged dwelling, and information regarding any previous assistance received from FEMA, insurance providers, or other sources.

Formed in the aftermath of Hurricanes Matthew and Irma, CEDRC has helped hundreds of households recover from disaster impacts across the Coastal Empire.
